I like giving “nerdgasms” to complete strangers using free and open source software on GNU/Linux. I manage a few projects, the biggest of which is PsychOS, an operating system for retrophiles to keep those old clunkers running.
When I’m not busy bashing my head against the desk for ever starting such projects, I’m usually experimenting with various forms of BASIC, to which so far, it’s a tie between BBC BASIC, QB64, and FreeBASIC, though Gambas is an awesome VisualBasic alternative for GNU/Linux when I’m not tinkering with VBDOS. Sometimes, having a “drag-and-drop” GUI designer is nice. I also play around with Python quite a bit.
For fun, what’s that? Oh yeah… I think it was playing older video games or something like that…
